Crispy wraps filled with juicy ground beef, melted cheddar, and fresh onions, air-fried for a golden crunch. A handheld American favorite in minutes.
Ground beef, 1 lb (450 g) (80/20 for ideal moisture)
Flour tortillas, 4 (10–12-inch size)
Shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup (90 g) (freshly shredded)
Diced onion, ¼ cup (40 g) (finely chopped)
Season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Cook in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbled. Set aside.
Heat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes. Lightly brush the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray or oil if desired.
Place each flour tortilla on a large plate. Divide the beef, cheese, and onions evenly among them.
Firmly fold each tortilla into a wrap, folding the sides over to seal.
Place in the air fryer and cook at 380°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, until golden and crisp.
Use large, sturdy tortillas to prevent tearing.
Distribute fillings evenly for even cooking.
For extra crispiness, avoid over-filling the wraps.
